Elton John Reflects on Career in New Never Too Late Trailer

New Documentary Celebrates Music Legend’s Journey

In November, a film about a famous musician’s legacy will hit theaters before streaming on Disney+ in December.

Elton John: Never Too Late looks back on his incredible career before his last U.S. concert, premiering this month at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Rolling Stone has an exclusive trailer for the documentary, which includes a new song by Elton John:

“When I was very young, my life was all consumed by music,Ć¢ā‚¬Ā John says in the trailer. “I just wanted to become a songwriter.Ć¢ā‚¬Ā

Disney+ describes the film as following Elton John’s reflections on his life and early career days, filled with emotions and uplifting moments. He shares memories from his first years in music, detailing both triumphs and struggles he faced on the path to stardom.

As he gets ready for his final concert in North America at Dodger Stadium, Elton tells stories of his highs and lows, including overcoming challenges like addiction. The film also debuts a new song by him.

Never Too Late, sharing its name with a song from The Lion King 2019 soundtrack, connects to Elton John Live: Farewell From Dodger Stadium, which showed his last North American show and earned him an Emmy, completing his EGOT.

The documentary, directed by R.J. Cutler and David Furnish, will be in theaters briefly on November 15.

Fans must be excited to see this new documentary.

Anticipating this film feels like waiting for a surprise gift.
