Lily Allen Plans Album Release by Year-End

Dreams of a New Album

Lily Allen hopes to release new music in 2025.

She chatted on her Miss Me? podcast with Miquita Oliver, sharing that she plans to work on herself first this year, then dive into writing and performing in a play. ā€œHopefully, maybe get an album out by the end of the year,ā€ she said. It’s like she’s putting the idea out into the universe, hoping it’ll come true.

In a past performance, Allen joined Olivia Rodrigo onstage during her Guts World Tour, and Rodrigo praised Allen as ā€œthe most clever songwriterā€ and ā€œthe coolest girl in London.ā€

Fans are excited to see what Lily comes up with next.

After singing ā€œFuck Youā€ with Rodrigo at Glastonbury 2023, Allen felt inspired to hit the studio again. She told Jonathan Ross, ā€œIt sparked something in me. It is quite fun.ā€

Though Allen hasn’t released much since No Shame, she collaborated with BENEE and Flo Milli on ā€œPlainā€ and sang alongside Shy FX and Stamina MC on ā€œRoll the Dice.ā€

In October, Allen’s X post went viral when she defended selling feet pics on OnlyFans, saying, ā€œImagine being an artist and having nearly 8 million monthly listeners on Spotify but earning more money from having 1000 people subscribe to pictures of your feet. don’t hate the player, hate the game,ā€ she wrote.
