The Final Stages of The Eras Tour
Taylor Swift is wrapping up her grand journey known as The Eras Tour. It started in Glendale, Arizona, back on March 17, 2023, and now it’s ending in Vancouver, BC, Canada. After performing six times in Toronto last month, she’s doing three shows at BC Place Stadium to finish it all off.
A Special Surprise with Gracie Abrams
On the second-to-last night, during a special part of the show called the Surprise Songs segment, Taylor brought her friend Gracie Abrams on stage. They performed a mix of Gracie’s āI Love You, Iām Sorryā and Taylor’s āLast Kiss.ā Taylor mentioned it was their final chance to perform together on this tour.
Fans enjoy seeing Taylor try different things in her performances.
Rumors of a Documentary
On Friday, people started guessing she might be filming something big because there were lots more cameras around than usual. There were flyover cameras, drones, and even a crane-mounted camera, making it feel like something special was being captured, as reported by USA Today.
Musical Magic with Acoustic Mashups
During a surprise acoustic session on Friday, Taylor played some mashups. She mixed “Haunted” from Speak Now (Taylorās Version) with “Wonderland” from 1989 (Taylorās Version) on her guitar. Then, using a piano, she blended “Never Grow Up” from Speak Now (Taylorās Version) and “The Best Day” from Fearless (Taylor Version).
An Emotional Farewell to Toronto
As the tour neared its end, Taylor had an emotional moment in Toronto on November 23. She bid farewell to the city, and during “Champagne Problems,” the crowd gave her a standing ovation.
āIām just having a bit of a moment. Sorry,ā she said to everyone there. āItās not even the last show!ā she added, smiling while tears filled her eyes.
